One of the problems I’ve had with short-throw projectors is that they just don’t deliver the same brightness of traditional projectors. Perfect for work with an interactive smart board, NEC's new NP 610s and NP 510ws projectors use a trio of LCD screens and are rated at 2,600 and 2,100 lumens. The projectors have built-in wired networking, VGA and networking inputs and a 7-watt speaker. They will include a two-year warranty and sell for $949 and $999 when they are available next month.
