Is it a netbook or tablet? Dell’s Inspiron Duo is actually both, depending on what you need to teach or learn. This split personality system can be a competent small notebook with a keyboard and 10.1-inch screen or a tablet slate with a stylus. With Windows 7, an Atom N550 dual core processor, a 250GB hard drive and 2GB of RAM, the Duo can handle just about anything a student or teacher can throw at it. The system sells for $550 and there’s an optional $100 dock.
