Help for Readers and Writers
The tenth generation of TextHelp’s Read&Write Gold program is ready and it’s a good way to get the most out of a class of elementary students. It contains an assortment of additions, like a conjugation checker, picture dictionary and a way to check an essay for easily confused words. My favorite is the vocabulary list builder that can help automatically create a list via Microsoft Word, and it can be converted to an .MP3 file for it to be read to students. It’s for Windows systems only and costs between $295 and $645. Schools can request a 30-day trial version to try before you buy.
