La10tablet_btb_01If Dell’s Latitude 10 seems to be a good choice for a classroom slate, but its $579 price tag is out of reach, Dell will soon have a 32GB model for $500. Equipped with a 1.8-GHz Intel Atom processor and 10.1-inch touch screen, it comes with a full-size USB port and SD card slot. The good news is that the Latitude 10 uses a full version of Windows 8 so you can continue to use the school’s software. The dedicated dockings station for the Latitude 10 adds $169.
