ISTE 2013: The Teaching Tablet

ActivTablet-kidsPromethean is showing its ActivTablet, a slate that should be out by year’s end. More than just a place for students to view info or do Web research, it is a learning and collaboration zone with a built-in student-response system that’s based on Prometean’s ActivEngage2 software. It has the ability to be personalized to every student’s needs and learning speed. ActivTablet has cameras, front and back, a bright display, lots of school software and is based on Android software.
