Nexus 5 bWhat’s small, inexpensive and powerful enough to teach or learn with? Google’s Nexus 5 is the latest Android slate and it uses the latest Version 4.4 of the company’s software, a.k.a, KitKat. Small enough to fit into a jacket pocket, the mini-slate has a 5-inch HD screen and Corning’s ultra-tough third-generation Gorilla glass. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800MHz processor and 2GB of RAM, you can get it with cell service (through AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile). Chances are, though, that it will be fed with data via a school WiFi network.
